Andromeda Metals

This company’s primary focus is the Great White Kaolin Project in South Australia, of which it owns 75%. Great White is one of the world’s largest known high-purity deposits of kaolin and a related mineral called halloysite. Kaolin is well known for its use in the paper industry, but halloysite is very valuable because of potential applications in high-end ceramics and its use as a feedstock for making High Purity Alumina. There are already some offtakes agreements in place for Great White. The PFS for the project gave it a pre-tax NPV of A$736m at an 8% discount rate. Andromeda is now working towards a DFS.
