This oil project developer recently returned to trading after the sale of its stake in the huge Sangomar Oil Field offshore Senegal to Woodside Petroleum. While FAR clearly sold too cheaply, and was more or less forced to do so given the difficulties of financing its share of development in 2020, FAR has been left with plenty of cash. It plants to make an 80 cents per share return of capital soon. We believe there is potential for the upcoming Bambo-1 well in Gambia, drilling late in 2021, to deliver the next ‘company maker for FAR.
