Metro Mining: China needs more of what it’s got

After a few weeks of looking at graphite companies, Resources Stocks Down Under turns its attention to one of the ASX’s few bauxite companies – Metro Mining. Metro Mining has operated the Bauxite Hills Mine on Queensland’s Cape York Peninsula since 2018 and is now looking at ways to increase its capacity from 4 million tonnes to 6 million tonnes. With bauxite prices now stabilising and the potential for a Financial Investment Decision on the next stage of the process, this stock is now showing some signs of life.
