We spoke to Ignacio Salazar, CEO of Highfield Resources (ASX:HFR), about the recent company-making transaction with China’s Yankuang that fully funds the world-class Muga Potash Project in Spain and creates a major new potash company globally.
The Yankuang deal doesn’t close for some time yet given the regulatory approvals required in multiple jurisdictions, but the upside is strong given the currently high potash prices and Muga’s low estimated costs of production.
