Why Stuart believes Flight Centre can take off in 2026!
Marc Kennis, August 29, 2025

Roberts contends that outliers such as CSL (ASX:CSL) and James Hardie (ASX:JHX) are exceptions rather than the norm. Flight Centre (ASX:FLT) shares are back to COVID levels
The analysis shifts focus to the travel sector, where Flight Centre (ASX:FLT) stands out as a key opportunity. Roberts highlights Flight Centre’s recent 36% decline over the past year, pointing out that many investors remain wary. However, he emphasises that the company’s corporate travel division is a new growth leader, given continued high demand for business travel. Despite challenges in Asia and a temporary US travel downturn, Roberts suggests the underlying business is resilient and poised for recovery, especially with further digitisation.
Competitors such as Corporate Travel Management (ASX:CTD) face auditing disruptions, which Roberts argues could create further tailwinds for Flight Centre. He references Qantas (ASX:QAN) as having outperformed recently, suggesting increased capacity in the sector presents additional upside for Flight Centre.
